Whoa there – Abel can strum the guitar, as well? Maybe we should look into starting a band! And if we’re already full up on guitar players, Abel can play the flute!
No but seriously, he can and does play the flute. As in the actual flute. It’s not a euphamism!
Abel’s a bit of a cornball, and one of those guys who can seem a big awkward at first. Twice during his time here to film he woke everyone up in the middle of the night playing his flute (again, not a euphamism!) and he’s one of those guys who’s so full of energy and so spontaneous you just never know what he’s going to do or get up to, and that’s part of his appeal.
Abel’s spontaneity helped lead him here. He’d never done anything like this before, wanted to try it out and see how much he’d like it, and I actually really admire and appreciate that attitude of his – you won’t know whether you’ll like something ’til you try it! He wouldn’t be the first guy to come through the door that was motivated by a curiosity about showing off for a big audience, and certainly won’t be the last!
