Most porns follow the same formula: The scene opens with kissing. Then oral. Then rimming. Then fucking. And then the cumshot. Most porns end with an ejaculation, and conditioned viewers may even skip ahead to the so-called money shot. But watching this same formula play out over and over again can condition us in unexpected ways. For example, it can create the expectation that every sexual experience must include cum. Or, that cum is the ultimate goal – instead of other pursuits like connection, pleasure or fun. Or, that once an ejaculation has occurred, the sexual encounter has concluded.
In this scene, we see that cum need not be the end. In fact, it can be a new beginning.
