Elder Devin has come to the sacred room upon President Ryder’s request. The church leader finally thinks the young missionary is worthy of joining the brotherhood, so the sacred ceremonies are due. Elder Devin has heard stories about these rituals and has never stopped dreaming about them since then. He knows what President Ryder is capable of, and he desperately yearns for it. Following the leader’s instructions, the young elder commits acts otherwise deemed unholy, yet secretly expected to happen under President Ryder’s command.
